Start here: set up AAA Signal in 5 minutes

Five minutes, one cuppa, and your website starts talking to you. A short narrated walkthrough using an example report: Open Connections, Connect Google, Pick your website, Read your Overview, Your next steps, Switch on Alerts.

Figures and account details shown are from an example report, not customer results. Hosted by AAA Signal, so nothing loads from YouTube. Watching doesn't connect an account or change your settings.

Before you start

  • An AAA Signal account with access to the website allowance you need.
  • A Google account with access to your own Search Console website; Analytics is optional for search-only reporting.

Set it up, step by step

  1. Sign in and open Connections. Use the business selector to choose the business you are setting up.
  2. Connect Google, select the correct Search Console website and, if available, its matching Google Analytics property. Save business settings.
  3. Open Overview and refresh a complete reporting period. Check the business name, website and reporting dates before reading the numbers.
  4. Read Your next steps, choose one recommendation and add an SEO task in SEO workboard. Set up Email reports later if you want a weekly reminder.
  5. Open Alerts and switch on Check this website (and Email me alerts) so you hear about problems. Optionally open Competitors and add two or three competitor websites.

How to use it

A useful first session ends with a verified property selection, a report you understand and one task to review.

Use Explore an example to learn the interface; switch back to live data before saving private workspace items or changing email preferences.

What the results mean

Google connected describes account access; it does not prove every property is selected or that website tracking is installed.

A new site may have little search history. Empty Analytics and zero search impressions are different conditions.

If something goes wrong

The report is blank

Check Connections first. Confirm the selected business, Search Console website and optional Analytics property, then try a longer complete period.

I cannot save a workspace item

Return to live data and check that this business is enabled within your current website allowance.
