THE AGREEMENT

Terms of Service

Plain-language terms for using AAA Signal.

Last updated 18 October 2026

1. The service

AAA Signal is operated by Brenton James Haddin trading as AAA Signal, ABN 30 671 785 400.

AAA Signal provides reporting based on data available through connected Google services. It is an information tool, not an SEO agency, accounting service or guarantee of search rankings, traffic, leads or revenue.

Search positions are reported averages, not live rankings. Opportunity scores and estimated click gains are directional and do not guarantee traffic. Multiple ranking pages do not automatically prove harmful keyword cannibalisation. Sitemap indexing inventories cover discovered sitemap URLs only, subject to scan and Google quota limits. If you separately authorize Search Console submission access, AAA Signal can submit or resubmit a sitemap as a discovery hint; this does not guarantee crawling, indexing or rankings. Requests to index individual URLs must be made through Search Console. Sitemap processing counts are not indexed-page counts. Scan comparisons concern the same checked URLs; unknown or failed checks do not establish indexing losses. Multi-page audits check up to ten supplied URLs within a bounded time window and identify skipped or failed checks. Checklist scores are not Google ranking scores. Live HTML checks do not render JavaScript or replace Google’s live test. Enquiry counts require a correctly configured website event and may count multiple events from the same person. Built-in guidance, report exports and live/stored page comparisons are available without an external AI connection. Read-only custom ChatGPT and Claude access is available where the customer’s assistant plan and workspace support it.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18, legally able to enter a contract, provide accurate account information and only connect properties you are authorised to access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in access secure.

Customer accounts use AAA Signal’s independent identity provider, Clerk, with email and supported social sign-in options. Clerk handles sign-in credentials and AAA Signal receives the account information needed to identify and secure your workspace. Google reporting access is authorised separately inside AAA Signal.

3. Plans and payments

Single covers one website, Multi covers up to three websites and Portfolio covers up to ten websites. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the selected interval until cancelled. Current prices, website limits and billing frequency are shown before checkout. The operator is not currently registered for GST and no GST is charged. You authorise Stripe to process payments using your chosen payment method.

Early-member price protection applies to the recurring base price of a paid plan while that subscription stays active. Cancelling or changing its plan or billing interval ends that protection; a later subscription uses the price then offered.

One-off done-for-you services. Google setup, Enquiry tracking setup, Website Quick Fix and Website Local Boost are one-off payments for the work described before checkout. We start once you have answered the questions, given access and signed the authorisation, and you can remove our access at any time. For Website Quick Fix and Website Local Boost we work on your existing website only (we don’t redesign it, build a new one or move hosting), take a backup before changing anything, and change only the page titles, descriptions, headings, wording, image descriptions, links, business details and settings described. New pages are sent to you to approve before they are published. You remain responsible for your website, its hosting and its content once we hand it back. No one can guarantee Google rankings, traffic or enquiries, and we don’t. If we can’t get the access we need or can’t do the work on your website, we will refund you in full; nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

The SEO Action Plan is a separate A$299 one-time review for one website. It provides findings and a prioritised 90-day plan after the required website brief, information and access are available. The usual delivery target is within seven business days after those requirements are complete, but we will advise you if the website’s complexity, missing information or third-party availability requires more time. It does not include implementation, copywriting, link building, ongoing monitoring or guaranteed rankings.

SEO drafts require owner approval

Eligible orders are prepared in the background, then held for owner review before delivery. Payment alone does not generate a finished plan. Supply your brief and the required website access first.

Where automated fulfilment is enabled, you must expressly consent on the paid-order brief. The current automated review uses connected Google data, up to five sampled website pages and up to three public HTTPS competitor URLs you supply. It is a rule-based report, not a full-site crawl, automatic competitor discovery, competitor-ranking/backlink research or a promise of bespoke human consultancy. Complete-evidence jobs may deliver in your private dashboard; unavailable evidence or required inputs can pause work or require operator assistance. No completion email is currently promised.

By submitting the paid brief with the stated automation and assistance consent, you request analysis of the selected website and authorise the operator to review the order’s relevant evidence and report where assistance is needed. You can stop automated work from the order’s progress controls. Stopping work or disconnecting Google does not automatically cancel the purchase, refund a charge or cancel a subscription; contact us about an unfulfilled order or requested remedy.

Complimentary access, when explicitly granted by the operator, carries no automatic subscription charge. Its website allowance and any conditions are shown or communicated with the grant; the operator can revoke complimentary access. A paid subscription requires a separate checkout.

4. Optional email reports and saved workspace

The dashboard includes private report snapshots, downloadable reports, SEO tasks and notes, and a manually refreshed keyword watchlist and reusable search-filter presets. AI-referral reports measure recognised referrer traffic, not AI answers or brand mentions. Possible error pages are title-based suggestions, not verified HTTP errors. Ecommerce reports depend on events already configured in Analytics. These are planning and reporting tools; they do not implement SEO changes. Keyword checks use reported average positions across a complete period, not live search rankings. Matching Search Console pages with Analytics landing pages does not establish that a particular click caused a session, enquiry or sale.

Weekly Signal Email is available as an optional reporting feature. Sending infrastructure is configured; each business remains off until you choose to enable it. The dashboard shows your delivery preference and recent activity. You must verify your account email, select a business and expressly opt in before weekly reports can be scheduled. Reports are sent to that verified email only. You can turn them off from Email reports or the unsubscribe link. Messages contain business reporting information, so protect your email account. Provider acceptance does not guarantee inbox delivery, and reports can be delayed or paused by missing Google access, quotas or delivery failures. This is not a marketing mailing list. No completion email for paid SEO plans is introduced by this feature.

5. Fair use and acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with normal operation, scrape or resell access, submit harmful code, connect another person’s data without permission, avoid plan limits, or use AAA Signal unlawfully. Automated scans and Google API requests are subject to reasonable quotas, provider limits and safeguards designed to protect other customers.

6. Google and third-party services

AAA Signal depends on Google, Stripe, Clerk, Cloudflare and other providers needed to deliver the service. Their availability and terms may affect the service. You remain responsible for your own Google account, Analytics configuration, Search Console ownership and website tracking setup.

7. Availability, beta features and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Early-access, beta and planned features may change, be delayed or not be released. A feature described as “coming soon” is not part of the current paid service until it is marked available. If a paid core feature is materially removed, affected customers will receive reasonable notice or an appropriate remedy where required.

8. Intellectual property

AAA Signal’s software, branding and original content remain the property of the operator and licensors. You retain ownership of your business and reporting data. Your permission to access the service is personal, limited and revocable under these terms.

9. Liability and Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, AAA Signal is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunities or decisions made solely from reporting data.

10. Website alerts, checks and competitor comparisons

Website alerts are optional and switched on per business. When on, AAA Signal checks that your home page loads about once an hour and, about once a day, looks for drops in Google clicks, pages no longer indexed, a lower Google speed score or a new problem on your home page. Briefings and report alerts in your dashboard use complete reporting periods. Checks can be delayed, can miss problems and do not diagnose the cause, so they are not a replacement for your web host’s own monitoring.

Speed scores come from Google’s PageSpeed Insights test and can vary between runs. The page scan reads up to 20 public pages listed in your sitemap. Competitor comparisons use only public information: the competitor’s public home page, sitemap and Google’s speed test. Only add websites you are comparing for genuine business purposes. A comparison is not a ranking report and does not show who appears higher in Google.

Snapshot comparisons do not prove that an action caused a change. Guided platform instructions require your review and may vary by platform. Imports support the documented template; other providers’ services and billing are not transferred or cancelled. Optional custom assistant connections require your explicit approval and the assistant provider’s supported plan and workspace settings. They do not guarantee a public app listing, recommendations or compatibility with every interface. Review the scope and third-party terms before sharing report data.

11. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended for non-payment, security risks, unlawful activity, excessive automated use or serious breach of these terms. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to correct the problem. You may cancel a recurring subscription, disconnect Google or request account deletion at any time.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. The current version and update date will remain available on this page. Material changes affecting paid customers will be communicated where reasonably practicable. Continuing to use the service after an updated version takes effect means you accept it, except where further consent is required by law.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Questions can be sent to support@aaasignal.com.au, by phone on 07 2802 5222, or through the contact page.
