Measure successful enquiries, not just clicks

Choose a verified Analytics event that means a completed enquiry. AAA Signal reads existing tracking; it does not create or install the event on your website.

Count real enquiries, not just clicks

Clicks are nice. Phone calls pay the bills. Let's count the calls. A short narrated walkthrough using an example report: Send an enquiry event, Test it, Choose the event, Watch enquiries come in, Or let us do it.

Before you start

  • A working GA4 property selected for the business.
  • A website form or booking flow with a confirmed successful-submission state.

Set it up, step by step

  1. Ask your developer to send an event such as generate_lead after a successful enquiry. Keep it separate from form opens, button clicks and failed submissions.
  2. Submit a test enquiry and verify the event in Analytics Realtime or DebugView. Do not include submitted personal details in the event.
  3. In Connections, use Load recorded Analytics events and choose the event only after verifying what triggers it.
  4. Save the business settings and review later complete periods after Analytics has processed the event.

How to use it

Keep test submissions in mind when reviewing totals. Use the same confirmed event consistently.

Treat phone-link clicks as a separate action: a click does not prove a connected call or a new customer.

What the results mean

Event counts are recorded actions, not unique people or confirmed revenue.

Not set up means no enquiry event is selected. It should not be read as zero enquiries.

If something goes wrong

My event is not listed

Verify it reaches the selected property and allow processing time. The recorded-event list is bounded; a developer can help confirm the actual event name.

Too many enquiries

Check whether the event fires more than once, on page load or on unsuccessful submissions. Correct the website tracking before trusting the total.
